VIPD Investigating Early Morning Death

ST. CROIX, USVI – On July 31 at around 8:17 a.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report of shots fired at H. H. Tire & Battery in Estate Pearl.
After arrival to the location, officers found an unresponsive Black male sitting in a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Technicians on the scene concluded the male had no vital signs.
The victim was identified by family members as 27-year-old Aaron Joseph.
This case is under active investigation. Detectives are urging anyone with information on this incident to call 911, the Crime TipLine at (340) 778-4950, or anonymously to Crime Stoppers USVI at (800) 222-TIPS.
