Citizen Turns Herself in to VIPD

ST. THOMAS – On Sunday, August 25, 2019 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Virgin Islands Police Department Officers of the Criminal Investigation Bureau arrested Diniqua Diaz, 23, of Estate Nadir on St. Thomas and charged her with Damage to a Vehicle.

On Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Diaz arrived at the Criminal Investigation Bureau to report an incident that occurred on Saturday, August 24, 2019 and informed officers of a domestic violence dispute that took place at Coki Point Beach. After speaking with officers and describing the details of the incident, Diaz was placed under arrest.

Diaz was able to bail herself and was released. She was advised to attend her Advice of Rights Hearing set for Monday, August 26, 2019.
